Founded in 1945 in Milan, Elchim was the first Italian company to produce hair dryers for professional use only . Over the years, production has expanded with the introduction of straightening irons, curling irons and many other accessories dedicated to professional hair salons. The electric brush is its most famous product and was designed in 1953. Over the years, many prestigious magazines have awarded Elchim important prizes such as the “best hair dryer”. Some products of this brand were present at the MOMA - Museum of Modern Art in New York. Production is entirely Italian and is carried out in three production facilities that export to 48 countries around the world.
